Here at Cool Designs Ltd (CDL) we are proud to be a certified carbon neutral company. We work hard to reduce our carbon footprint and manage our growth.

With our very own tree plantation and through the sponsorship of a wind farm in Tansania we have successfully offset our carbon footprint. We regularly transport goods across the country and we now do so knowing that we have zero impact upon the environment.

In 2011 we invested in a 3 acre plot of land near Stoke-on-Trent. Formerly grazing land, we have now planted 1,105 trees including a Royal Oak tree to celebrate the Queens Diamond Jubilee in 2012.

Most pleasing for us was the news that Toshiba Air Conditioning also became carbon neutral; from the Toshiba factory, through CDL and to our client’s site, the transport of goods has zero impact on the carbon footprint of that project. Once the trees are better established we hope to use the land with the local community including schools to promote greater environmental knowledge.

If you follow us on twitter or facebook then you’ll know that we put a huge emphasis on energy efficient air conditioning. We work hard to ensure that our green ethos rubs off onto others too; with green energy and energy efficient air conditioning we can all help to minimise our effect on the environment and even save the end user money!
